Roadrunner Opens New Canada Freight Routes

More freight can now move from Canada to the United States.

On October 23, 2026, Roadrunner Freight launched its first outbound LTL service from Canada to the U.S.

The new service connects Canadian shippers with more than 40 major U.S. metropolitan areas.

Roadrunner says the freight will move entirely by truck, without using rail transportation.

The company also announced a 5.9% general rate increase beginning November 2, 2026.

The actual increase will vary depending on the shipment and route.

### What This Means for CDL Drivers

The expansion could bring more cross-border LTL freight to Roadrunner's trucking network.

The 5.9% increase applies to freight rates, not driver pay.
